Privacy policy
Geelong First Homebuyers is a first home buyer coaching business run by Victoria Whittaker ([ABN]) ("I", "me"). I respect your privacy, and this policy explains what personal information I collect, why, and how I look after it. I aim to handle your information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What I collect
I only collect information you choose to give me, such as:
- your name, mobile number and email address when you unlock the free calculator, request the checklist or ask for a call
- which service you're interested in and anything you write in a message to me
- details you share during coaching, such as your budget, timeline and properties you're considering
I don't ask for, and you shouldn't send me, sensitive information like bank account numbers or identity documents.
How I use it
- to give you access to the free calculator and send you the resources you ask for
- to contact you about your enquiry and arrange your free call
- to provide coaching and the services you buy from me
- to send you occasional first home buyer tips and offers, but only if you've agreed to be contacted. Every email includes a way to unsubscribe, and you can opt out any time.
I never sell or rent your personal information.
Who else sees it
I use a small number of trusted services to run this website and my business. For example, forms on this site are delivered to my inbox by Web3Forms, and my email and website hosting providers store information on my behalf. Some of these providers may store data on servers outside Australia. I only use providers I believe take reasonable steps to protect your information.
I won't share your details with anyone else, such as real estate agents, lenders or mortgage brokers, unless you ask me to or the law requires it.
How I protect it
I take reasonable steps to keep your information secure and to delete or de-identify it when I no longer need it.
Accessing or correcting your information
You can ask to see the personal information I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Just email me using the details below and I'll respond within a reasonable time.
